 STAR Physical Therapy has developed a specialized program to meet the rehabilitative health needs for women of all ages. We design an individualized treatment plan for each client that is specific for the achievement of their goals.  The Female Athlete
- Pediatric to adult

- Manual therapy for strength and conditioning
Pregnancy and Postpartum Orthopedic Complications
- High risk/bed rest therapeutic exercise program
- Back and sacroiliac pain
- Thoracic outlet and carpal tunnel syndromes
- Diastasis recti
Breast Cancer: Rehabilitation following lumpectomy, mastectomy, or reconstruction
- Therapeutic exercise to restore range of motion and strength
- Scar tissue mobilization
- General strength and conditioning programs to restore functional endurance following chemotherapy and radiation treatment
- Referral to local support groups
Osteoporosis
- Evaluation to assess posture, strength, range of motion, and propensity for falls
- Postural awareness and body mechanics training
- Strength and conditioning program to promote maintenance of bone density
- Patient education concerning the effects of diet, exercise, and general lifestyles on bone density

- Vodder-trained physical therapist
- Pediatric to adult
- Congenital to traumatic
- Compression sleeve measurements/fittings
- Patient education regarding precautions and contraindications for prevention of lymphedema
Pelvic Floor Pain and Dysfunction
- Evaluation for urinary incontinence and generalized pelvic floor pain
- Treatment of pelvic and abdominal musculature weakness following gynecological surgery
- Treatment may include therapeutic exercise, behavioral approaches, biofeedback, joint and soft tissue techniques
- Rental of home electrical stimulation or biofeedback units
