 Our Sports Medicine program plays a vital part in our community involvement and the success of our clinics. We utilize Certified Athletic Trainers who have worked at all levels of the profession. Our Certified Athletic Trainers have worked with athletes of all levels from Middle Schools, Recreational, Olympic, and World Class Athletes. Our Outreach Sports Medicine Program consists of Certified Athletic Trainers that are Certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification. Our Athletic Trainers are also Licensed in each of STAR's respective states.
 Certified Athletic Trainers provide
♦ Daily recognition/evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of athletic injuries
♦ Coverage of all home and away varsity football games
♦ Coverage of all home contests as coordinated with the Athletic Director
♦ Coverage of special events and tournaments coordinated with the Athletic Director
♦ Certified Athletic Trainers in Tennessee participate in the TSSAA Wrestling Weight Management Program
♦ STAR assists in the purchase of equipment and supplies
♦ Prepare an annual supply budget by acquiring volume bid discounts from sports medicine supply vendors
♦ Our Certified Athletic Trainers assist in the coordination of Pre-participation Examinations (Physicals)
